The inspiration for Stella’s Table comes from our family of Mediterranean immigrants who settled into the Detroit area following WWII and then made their way to the Highland-White Lake community in the early 1950’s. They brought with them a love of great food, drink and storytelling along with a passion of sharing this love with friends, family and neighbors. On many nights and weekends generations of families could be found congregating around a massive kitchen table enjoying classic Italian dishes and drink while exchanging the day’s events with pride, laughter and sometimes tears. Stella’s Table is our take on bringing these timeless traditional values to our current day world. .
