Our Story
Stella's Table is a family-owned Italian restaurant in Highland, MI inspired by generations of tradition. Our story begins with our family's Mediterranean heritage. After immigrating to the Detroit area following World War II and eventually settling in the Highland-White Lake community in the early 1950s, they brought with them more than cherished family recipes. They brought a way of life centered around hospitality, meaningful conversation, and gathering around the table.
For generations, family and friends gathered around a large kitchen table to enjoy homemade Italian meals, pour glasses of wine, and share the stories of their day. It was a place where everyone was welcome, memories were made, and great food brought people together.
